The Ontario Health Providers Alliance (OHPA) was founded in 1993 out of a strong desire for collaboration amongst a broad spectrum of provincial health service organizations.  The member organizations also provide advice and guidance to the province on funding, policy and program design.  The OHPA members (employers and providers) represent about 90% of the province's health care jobs and a large majority of Ontario's health care budget.
